David Chin is currently CEO at SPARK. David has played an integral role to the overall growth of Spark since its inception. David has led business development activities with Spark’s growing network of tech partners and spearheaded new initiatives such as Spark’s Thought Leadership forums, Expert Workshops and Masterclasses. David is also responsible for Spark’s overseas expansion, building strategic relationships with tech, business and government leaders in Singapore and across Southeast Asia. David brings with him a diverse portfolio of experiences in B2B Tech Go-to-Market strategy, C-level programmes and omni-channel technology B2B marketing.

Anders Halvorsen is currently working as Vice President for Global Public Policy at the World Innovation, Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA), a leading consortium of tech association members from over 80 countries/economies around the world (https://witsa.org/). Anders has worked at WITSA since January 1998, covering a wide range of issues, including helping develop the program for WITSA’s flagship event, the World Congress on Innovation and Technology (WCIT), managing the WITSA Global Innovation and Tech Excellence Awards (presented to select individuals, academic institutions, corporations, NGOs or governments whose use and applications of digital technologies exhibit exceptional achievement), as well as drafting substantive policy positions on a wide range of issues of concern to industry and engaging with member associations around the world as well as likeminded organizations and key stakeholders, including the WTO, UN, OECD, the World Bank, APEC, ITU, UNCTAD, ICANN, and IGF. Prior to working at WITSA, Anders worked as an executive officer at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (External Economic Affairs Department), the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and European Commission DG XIII (Telecommunication, Information Technology, Industry & Innovation).

Dr. Mazlan is the CEO and co-founder of FAVORIOT Sdn Bhd, an IoT company. He is a recognized thought leader in the IoT industry, having been listed as a top 50 influencer by several organizations. He has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, including as a CEO of REDtone IOT, a senior director at MIMOS Berhad, and various senior management positions at CELCOM. Dr. Mazlan has also worked as a professor at several universities in Malaysia and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Information Science and Technology, MMU. He holds a BEE from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, a MSc in Telematics from the University of Essex, and a Ph.D. in Telecommunications from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He is a frequent speaker at IoT, IR 4.0, Smart Cities, and telco conferences and serves on the Industry Advisory Panel for several universities. He is also a TEDx Speaker and has received an Honorary Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from UTHM.

Gregers Reimann is the managing director of IEN Consultants Sdn Bhd, a pioneering green building consultancy operating in Malaysia since 2000 and specializing in low-carbon building designs that are highly energy efficient, have good daylighting, are healthy and connects with Nature for people to thrive.

In 2023, Gregers advised the city council of Kuala Lumpur on what building designs/materials/policies/incentives best can bring about the low-carbon transition of the city. The project was funded by C40. Gregers is also on malaysiaGBC working committee for the CarbonScore, an assessment scheme that assesses the carbon footprint of Malaysian buildings, including greenhouse gas emissions from embodied energy in building materials and from commuting transport.

Key building project references include the energy efficient GreenTech Malaysia building, winner of the ASEAN Energy Award 2020 in the ZERO Energy Building category, the ENERGY PLUS UniKL Sustainable Energy Living Lab building producing twice as much energy as it consumes, the Pertamina Energy Tower - the first skyscraper designed to be ZERO energy, and the energy efficient EECCHI office retrofit measuring 53% energy savings and the efficient, biophilic and multi-award winning ‘Paramit – factory in the forest’, winner of the 2020 World Green Building APN Awards.

Gregers is regularly contributes to green building articles and frequently lectures at universities. He has a keen interest to pursue innovative and integrated design solutions bridging the gap between architects and engineers. And is an advocate for low-carbon urban transportation systems and walks the talk by bicycling to work.

Ts. Anusha Magendram is an Assistant Vice President in Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) under the Sustainable Development Technologies Department. She brings 20 years of relevant experience in Sustainable Development, particularly around Smart Cities Development. Her work here centres primarily on the management and coordination of the Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance (MSCA) and project “Sustainable-city in Malaysia” under Sustainable Cities Integrated Approach Pilot (SCIAP) Programme for the Global Environmental Facility (GEF 6) organization for UNIDO.

At MIGHT, she has been extensively involved in Project Management & Research, bilateral & multilateral projects, and science diplomacy programs. Before this, she worked as Head of Operation in Yayasan Innovasi Malaysia and as Team Leader In MYOB Australia Pty Ltd.

She holds a Master of Computer Science (majoring in Software Engineering), a Bachelor’s in Information & Technology (majoring in Software Engineering), and currently pursuing her PhD at UKM.

Jason is a Technology Consulting Partner at EY and is the Malaysia cybersecurity leader. He has extensive experience working with clients in financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, energy and other sectors. He currently leads a team of over 100 cybersecurity professionals based in Malaysia. He has been a past president of ISACA Malaysia Chapter and has also served on ISACA’s global board and other industry bodies.

Ian Lim is the Field Chief Security Officer at Palo Alto for Asia Pacific at Palo Alto Networks. In this role, Ian travels the region extensively to interface with cybersecurity and IT leaders to offer his practitioner’s perspective on the AI risk implications, zero trust architecture, cloud security strategy, SOC transformation, and other relevant topics.

With over 20 years of dedicated cybersecurity experience, Ian has led global security departments in the CISO role for Fortune 100 companies deploying defense-in-depth capabilities to thwart advanced attacks. He has cross-industry cybersecurity expertise in the financial, real estate, and healthcare verticals, and has done on-the-ground work in the US, EMEA and JAPAC. He is also instrumental in developing governance policies and risk frameworks to meet regulatory compliance requirements.

On the publishing front, Ian is the principal author of "Information Security Cost Management" and "Securing Cloud and Mobility", and a guest author in Auerbach's Information Security Management Handbook (required reading for CISSP). Ian graduated from UCI with a Computer Science and English degree. He is currently an Executive Committee member at University of California Irvine (UCI) Cyber Research Policy Institute. In his free-time, Ian participates in 48 Hour Film Competitions where film-makers have to write, direct, edit, and score a short film in 48 hours.

Roger has earned the designation of Chartered Director (CD-SA), and is an internationally Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional. He is an alumni of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (Austria).

To strengthen his international business knowledge, he completed the Global Executive Development Programme (GEDP) at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). He holds a Master of Laws degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Salford, Manchester, UK. He has also attended the Applied Directorship Programme at Sirdar.

He currently serves on B20 India 2023 Action Councils and previously served on the Integrity Task Force of the B20 Italy and B20 Indonesia Roger is the current Vice-Chairman: Africa of the World Innovation Technology & Services Alliance (WITSA initially from 2009 serving in several offices including that of the Deputy-Chairman.

He is an active member of the Bretton Woods Committee, a committee that champions global efforts to spur economic growth, alleviate poverty and improve financial stability.

He serves on the board of the French-South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry and he is the Deputy-President of the Information Technology Association of SA.

He is a fellow member of the Institute of Directors of both South Africa and of India.

He has spoken at several local and international conferences including the AIM Congress 2023 in Abu Dhabi, European Economic Congress (Katowice), Economic Forum (Krynica), and several other international fora.

He has undertaken business visits to over 60 countries and has been a member of the business delegation accompanying the President of South Africa on several official state missions.

Bussemaker is the chair of the ‘Institute for Accountability in the Digital Age’. An association instigated by UNESCO in 2017 aimed to help define instruments for, and manage accountability in the Digital Age. Bussemaker has a passion for bringing people together in the Digital Age. He has initiated and helped run a number of (international) communities focused on linking Information Technology, Innovation and Impact. He has been working in the International ICT industry since the 80s. He started with a Dutch IT start up. Held various marketing and alliance positions including: CIONET where he was the Secretary General International Relations a community of over 7000 CIOs where he represented the community with international institutes like the European Commission. He is the initiator of the Global Digital Leader Alliance linking over 20.000 Digital Leaders from China, Europe, India, Japan, Russia, South America and the US. He is a founding member and vice-chair of the outreach committee of the ITU ‘AI for Good Global Summit, WCIT2010, WCC2012 and WCF 2104. He is a regular speaker and chair at international events and has spoken in Australia, China, Europe, Ghana, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, South-Korea, Sri Lanka and the United States. He has an MSc in Geophysics from Delft University.

Anthony is the Managing Director of AGW Legal & Advisory, a multidisciplinary legal and advisory practice advising in many areas of emergent technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data, and Intellectual Property.

Anthony is the President of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) www.ifip.org, headquartered in Austria, created under the auspices of UNESCO in 1960. IFIP is the leading international organization in Information & Communications Technologies and Sciences recognized by the United Nations.

Anthony served on the IT Industry Innovation Council for the Australian Government. He chaired the New South Wales Government ICT Advisory Panel and served on the New South Wales Government Digital Transformation Taskforce in Sydney, Australia.

He has also held senior management positions in multinational corporations and government, including as CIO of the Australian Tourist Commission during the Sydney 2000 Olympics.

Anthony was awarded double Bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Law from Monash University, Master of Laws in Media, Communications and IT from University of New South Wales and a Master of Intellectual Property from UTS (University Technology Sydney), in Australia.

He is a regular international commentator and presenter on technology and legal issues, including on SkyNews, ABC, The Australian, and at various international forums, including the UN World Summit on Information Society (WSIS) in Geneva, the Internet Governance Forum (IGF), at IDECS 2017, and at LAWASIA in Cambodia, Malaysia and Australia.

Dato’ Sri Idris Jala is a world-renowned transformation guru in driving performance for both Governments and the private sector through his Big-Fast-Results Methodology. He is currently the Chairman of PEMANDU Associates, a multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Kuala Lumpur that specializes in public sector transformation, business turnaround, and strategic communications. In 2014, Bloomberg placed him amongst the top-10 most influential policy makers in the world. Under his leadership, PEMANDU was also named as the top-20 most innovative Government agencies globally by Bloomberg Philanthropies and NESTA UK.

Dato’ Sri Idris Jala served as a Cabinet Minister under the Prime Minister’s Department between 2010 and 2017, taking helm of Malaysia’s National Transformation Programme (NTP), a roadmap designed to spearhead the nation’s transition towards high income status by 2020. Prior to PEMANDU, Dato’ Sri Idris was the CEO of Malaysia Airlines, and also held various senior positions in the Shell Group for 23 years.

On top of his role in Pemandu, he currently serves as the non-executive co-Chairman of Sunway Group, the Chairman of Heineken Malaysia, and the pro-Chancellor of Sunway University. Dato’ Sri Idris also lectures annually at Harvard University under the Harvard Ministerial Programme, continuously sharing his secrets for effective transformation to Ministers and CEOs worldwide today.

Anthony Raja Devadoss is the Country Managing Director, Korn Ferry Malaysia and leads the Executive Search business in Malaysia, supporting the rest of the practices and part of the Global Technology Markets team for the region.

Anthony Raja brings over 25 years of experience in cross spectrum of Board & Executive Search, HR Business Transformation Consulting, Recruitment Process Outsourcing, Leadership Talent development and Assessment within the region and globally spanning across industries. His areas of expertise in Digital Technology, Energy, Financial, Healthcare and Business/Professional Services & Telecommunications.

He brings depth of experience in managing board & leadership search assignments, end to end talent acquisition, talent development and transition projects across Asia Pacific, EMEA and Americas. This includes organizations in growth and transformation stages with local large conglomerates, multinational firms and government investment organizations in public and private sectors.

Anthony is currently the Chair, GBS Malaysia [Digital Global Business Services Council Malaysia] a Global Business Services initiative of PIKOM - The National Tech Association of Malaysia, Treasurer of PIKOM, PIKOM Academy, Chair and WCIT2022 Chair – Program & Speaker. Anthony has been appointed as Research Fellow of National Human Resource Centre at HRD Corp, Malaysia to support human capital development and its long-term sustainability. ​He is actively involved in the country and region’s HR Services & Technology industry development and holds memberships in various National and international associations including Global Technology & Business Services Council.

Before joining Korn Ferry, Anthony spent 20 years with another Global Recruitment and Workforce solutions firm where he held several regional leadership positions. He was most recently the Managing Director & Business Head covering Asia Pacific and member of the board of a global talent management group in the US.

After more than a decade in broadcast television with TV3 Malaysia and CNBC, Keith dived into the intersections of technology, gaming and consumer tech services, in marketing and business development roles with multinationals, SMEs and start-ups. He is the Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Publishing for games company GCL Global and an international news presenter for CNA.
